Outlook Express News Setup

1.) Open Outlook Express.

2.) Click on the ``Tools" item on the top left menu bar.

3.) Click on ``Accounts".

4.) Select the ``News" tab.

5.) Select the ``Add" button.

6.) In the ``Display Name:" box, type your name as you would like it to appear when you post a message to a newsgroup.

7.)Click ``Next".

8.)Type in your e-mail address. For example: jsmith@jcis.net.

9.) Click ``Next".

10.) Type in: cnews.newsguy.com.

11.) Click ``Next".

12.) Type in a user-friendly name for your news account for example: newsguy.

13.) Click ``Next".

14.) If you connect to the Internet using a modem, select ``Connect using my phone line" If you connect to the Internet through a Local Area Network, select ``Connect using my local area network".

15.) Click ``Next".

16.) Click ``Finish". That's it! You now have access to newsgroups.
