1)
Must know the history of your system or it becomes diagnostic.

Do not know the history of your system.
2)
Know what components you want, and need a total replacement cost (parts and labor).
2)
Do not know what is wrong with your computer.
3)
Want to know feasibility of upgrading or replacing components.
3)
May have an idea, but if we determine the cause of the failure, it is diagnostic.
4)
Want to order parts only to install yourself, or you have the parts and need an estimate on the cost for us to install.
4)
Any billable time less than half an hour, is still a minimum of a half hour of time, or $50.00.
 
 
** A diagnostic is not considered to be a free estimate. Any amount of time a computer spends on the bench for troubleshooting is billable time. Please note the differences above.
